Special Barista Training

A focused 15-day practical course for anyone who wants to start working as a barista - fast. No theory classes, no waiting. You are on the tools from day one, learning beverages, brewing methods, and latte art to international standards. Taught by an instructor with 12 years of Starbucks experience.

Course modules

Module 1

Beverage preparation & taste

Hands-on preparation of various beverage types - espresso-based drinks, their taste profiles, and correct presentation.

Module 2

Brewing methods practical

Pour-over, French press, AeroPress, and more — practical sessions on grind, ratio, and technique for every method.

Module 3

Latte art training

Milk steaming, microfoam control, and free-pour technique to produce clean and consistent latte art patterns.

Day-By-Day

Days 1 – 2
Beverages practical
Straight onto the machine. Espresso-based drinks, various beverage types, taste training, and correct preparation from the very first session.
Days 3 - 6
Brewing Methods / Drinks
Hands-on practicals covering different brewing techniques - grind settings, ratios, water temperature, and extraction for each method. Preparation of different types of drinks.
Days 7 - 12
Latte art intensive
Focused latte art sessions - steaming, microfoam, and free-pour practice every day until your patterns are clean and consistent.
Days 13 - 15
Refreshers / Beverages
Learn preparing different refreshers and beverages including Matcha preparation. This is optional and student can just focus on coffee too.
Optional
Internship at Dark Beans Café
Students who can manage the time are welcome to do an internship on the café floor after completing the 15 days.
